Email – Send a summary only

Is it possible to send a summary of the blog entries via the email subscription system? I add two or three a day and they are quite long. I would far prefer people only saw the first few lines on the email and then clicked through to read the full article on the website.

As far as I know, this isn’t possible. It MIGHT be, if your RSS feed is set to Partial feed, rather than Full feed, but someone with more experience with RSS would have to weigh in on that.
You used to be able to do that through Feedburner, but I believe they stopped that recently.

As raincoaster suggests, if you set your feed settings to summary then any email notifications will be summarised in a similar way to RSS.
