  Please i am new to word press,my name is dare form Nigeria.I set up a blog site with users.i want each users to get notification via email when new posts are added or when comments are made to exisiting ones.

  I also want to know how to move my blog online.Its on my local host.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You have no control over that. Users have to subscribe themselves to notification emails for posts and comments: https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#manage-email-and-im-settings-for-specific-blogs

  If you set up a site using the WordPress.org software on a local host, you can’t use it here. This site is WordPress.com, and is completely different and separate from WordPress.org. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  For help in getting a self-hosted site online, please post in the WordPress.org forums: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.

  thank you kokkieh,please how do the users achieve that( subscribing themselves to mail notification) are they gonna do that by clicking a button or combination of steps.Kindly help break it down.

  For logged in WordPress.com users they can follow your blog by clicking the follow button in the toolbar, and then selecting their email settings under Blogs I Follow in the Reader, as explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#manage-email-and-im-settings-for-specific-blogs

  You can also add the Follow Blog widget to your sidebar or footer, or the Blog Subscription shortcode directly to a post or page. Both logged in and logged out users can subscribe for email notifications using these two methods. Instructions for both here:
