email service

Where do I get the email support that I get in the premium service?
-
I signed up for premium for the email contact support. Does this post to the forum just like the basic account? If yes, what’s the difference between email support and forum support?
Second, how do I remove this “Blog at WordPress.com. | The Edin Theme.” at the bottom of the page? I did pay for “no ads”.

My comments and support are meant to be private. Please remove from forum and direct me to the email support if this thread is posted.
Thanks. -

Sorry but the footer credit links cannot be removed from any sites, even VIP hosted sites, here at wordpress.COM. Removal of the top Admin bar and/or footer credit links is a Terms of Service violation that results in blog suspension and there is no upgrade that changes that.
Terms of Service:
11. Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/
Support docs:
May I remove the Admin Bar, credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the Admin Bar (the dark bar that appears at the top of WordPress.com sites when logged in) as well as credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questionsThough removing footer credit links, which leads to the untrue assumption that you designed the theme, and that you are hosting your site yourself is not allowed under the Terms of Service, it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS, if you have purchased the Business bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/ or Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ of upgrades, as they contain the Custom Design upgrade.
Then you can include styling credit if you have done any unique styling and/or you can include a copyright notice.
Note that as you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.

All support docs are at http://support.wordpress.com
Search for help support options https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=help+support+optionsre: direct email support
Here for all the support options when you have technical support issues https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/If you have a paid upgrade, please use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ where you will receive a choice of having staff answer your question publicly or privately.
Also note, that you can email Staff at:
support@wordpress.com
or
help@wordpress.com -
I’m just one of the office assistants to holisticengineer… not meaning to post in the forum as him.
Thanks for all the replies. -

Bottom line: Using both support doc searches and forum tag searches
help – support options
remove footer credit links
will usually save you time by providong correct answers more quickly than emailing Staff does. -
@haloapakabarblog
Thanks so much but I have answered questions here for nearly 10 years. I predate support docs. And, I predate all except one member of support staff being on Staff. What I said was true. Learning to do support doc searches and forum tag searches and/or posting to this peer support forum usually provides a correct answer far more quickly than emailing Staff does

@holisticengineer
You are welcome but do know that using the login information of others is strongly discouraged here. What is recommended is one Admin per blog only.Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You can have either a public or a private WordPress.COM hosted blog and there is no limitation on the total number of contributors to any blog. If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. Contributors cannot upload images. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.
To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
Then see:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#adding-users-to-your-site
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#adding-viewers-to-a-private-siteThe invitees will have to register a WordPress.COM username account which requires an email address only, but does not need to register a blog. That requirement is because the software has to be able to differentiate between hackers and official users and allow access only to those with username accounts and official roles on the blog.
Username accounts are required but registering blogs under them is not required.
If the person being invited to contribute to your blog does not already have one, he or she will have to register a WordPress.COM username account. Note that he or she does not need to register a blog. There is a just a username please option. The invitees who lack username accounts select the “username only” option here: https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1
NOTE that as you have an account you would have to log out and clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies to witness the process as the invitees without accounts would experience it.
Upon receipt of the invitation the invitee will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If the invitee is logged into their WordPress.com username account, he or she will be taken directly to your blog. If not, he or she will be taken to the log-in screen, where he or she can either log in, or can register a new WordPress.COM user account.
Note that invitees who do create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
Note that invitees who do create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
Lastly, there is a built-in spammer prevention so send out only 10 invitations at one point in time and then wait and manage those before sending out 10 more.
