Hi @deepilates
So there are a few options for you to set up an email address that reflects your domain name.
Just to be clear though, who did you purchase your domain through (e.g. godaddy.com)? You said you purchased it WITH your existing gmail address, did you mean that you already have email forwarding with your new custom domain through Gsuite to another inbox OR did you set up a new inbox?
As far as how to get your email working through wordpress.com, see this article about mapping (connecting) your already purchased domain to your WordPress site and then your email options: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
If you DON’T have email already set up on your new domain, see here on what your options are AFTER you map (connect) your domain to your wordpress.com site.
Email forwarding: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/
Email hosting (different inbox): https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/Remember: Email Forwarding costs money upfront (but it’s affordable) and sends all emails to an existing inbox.
Email Hosting can be free (but not forever) and it sets up a new, separate inbox.Let me know how it goes!
