Email Sign-up for my blog from another non-wordpress Website via CSS

  • Unknown's avatar

We have a non-profit website site which is on a NON-wordpress site, and we also have a WordPress blog website for important posts on another website.

Question: How can I have people input their email address into a box on the non-wordpress site and hit send, which then triggers my WordPress signup email address widget and they are registered to receive the email updates on new posts.

I am trying to avoid having on my non-wordpress site folks go and signup for the blog posts via the WordPress blog website. I want to be able to do that directly FROM my non-wordpress site.

My non-wordpress site uses CSS as the source code.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello @kwbaweather,

If your non-WordPress.com site is self-hosted WordPress (installed WordPress script). You can use Jetpack to connect it to your WordPress.com website.

Once connected, you will have this option in your non-WordPress.com site’s dashboard: https://i.imgur.com/bCOrJFc.png

You can find more information about Jetpack from the following links:

If your non-WordPress.com site is not using WordPress at all, one way I could think of for you to have your WordPress.COM and non-WordPress sites’ subscribers to be in one place if through MailChimp. WordPress.com free plan supports MailChimp.

You can find more information from the following links:

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Regards,
    Rose
