Email sign ups

    Hi there, I’ve activated an Email follow on my website which is visible when someone visits my blog page but I’m not getting any emails when people sign up / enter details. I also created an email sign up form via mail chimp and entered the code on my widgets thingy. However, when i publish the changes, the “sign up” box doesn’t show which means I’m not able to sign up followers to my blogs via email. I only receive and see notifications when followers are WordPress followers. What do I need to do to fix these problems. As I’m getting visitors to my site, I fear some may think they’ve signed up for regular updates(or to get an email when a new post is published) when nothing has happened.
    Please help.
