Email subscribers

  Hi I am slightly confused as when I look at my stats it says I only have 2email followers but on my page it says “FOLLOW BLOG VIA EMAIL

  Click to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.

  Join 119 other followers”. What is going on? because I know that I have more than 2 email followers.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  The number you see on your sidebar is an aggregate of the following:

  – Email subscribers – Users that chose to subscribe through email. You can see that number here:

  https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=68041151&blog_subscribers&type=email&unit=1

  – WordPress.com subscribers – Users that follow through WordPress.com and either receive posts through their Reader or through email:

  https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=68041151&blog_subscribers&type=wpcom&unit=1

  – Facebook followers

  – Twitter followers

  When you connect Facebook and Twitter through Publicize, we automatically add those numbers to your follower count (not for other services like LInkedIn).

  I added up those numbers, and it seems to match the 119 number you mention. Can you let me know if you see the same on your side?
