  I would like to add a place for people to subscribe to my blog so they get an email when i make a post. How can i do this?

  You can also use the Blog Subscription Shortcode https://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/

  You cannot use the MailChimp embed code or the Aweber embed code and cannot create a pop-up on a wordpress.COM hosted blog. You can create a sign up page on MailChimp or on Aweber only and link to it.

  Do you know how I can make it so people do not need to confirm their email if they subscribe?

  That’s not possible. They have to confirm.
