Email Subscribers

Hello, I am having an issue with email subscribers not receiving post. Multiple people have signed up, I have even on occasion gotten an email advising me of a new follower, and yet they do not receive emails with blog posts. Please advise what we can do! Thank you!

To check on this I’ll need some of the actual email addresses of people not receiving notifications.
You can also point followers to these support documents outlining how to make sure they are allowing email notifications, and to make sure they’re specifically subscribed to email notifications for your site:

Hi, Thanks for responding. One specific email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff) – I will send that link out, I just felt like people aren’t going to go through so much work to subscribe to something? I wanted to make sure there was nothing I needed to do on my end to make it a smoother, easier, more fluent process. Thanks.

Okay, the owner of that email address is following your blog, so they’ll see new posts in the Reader, but they don’t have email notifications active.
To enable email notifications for your site they’ll need to follow the instructions in the second link I gave above. If they click the Follow button in the widget in your sidebar that should also sign them up for email notifications.
We believe that followers should be in control of their email settings, so we can make sure if someone is receiving emails it’s because they want to receive emails. Adding the Follow button to your sidebar is as much as you’re able to do on your end to help simplify the process :)
