did you check if the posts appear already in the Reader?
Here is the link to it:
https://wordpress.com/readUp-top there is a search bar and a “manage” button following that so that one can manage their followed sites.
In the list of your followed sites that appear there is a “Settings” option, so one can toggle on or off their preference for receiving new posts by email.Hope this helps!
