Email subscription

  I’ve noticed that the email subscription widget doesn’t send out emails to people when I publish new pages. It only sends out notifications when new posts are published.
  Is this correct?
  Is there any way I can set it up to send out mails when I add a new page as I only have pages on my blog?

  Posts also notify search engines when they are published.

  Is there a reason you are doing Pages and not Posts? Posts work much better if you want your site to be found.
