Email subscription confirmation and site stats

    I received an email confirmation telling me that someone had subscribed by email to my Blog. This would have been through the widget
    However 24 hours later that subscription has not appeared in the subscription section of Site Stats.

    Is there a lag between subscribing and appearance in site stats or could there be a problem somewhere?
