Email subscription error

  I.m getting this response when trying to add e-mail subscriptions: “Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.”

  I have tried several valid e-mailadresses, so this seems odd.

  Anyone knows what causes this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Still getting the same problem. Very annoying as I did a post today and I am getting a lot of hits. Losing potential subscribers. It is critical of the Australian PM. I wonder if it has been hacked.

  closely related, my subscribers are not getting an email notification of my new post. I don’t know how I can change this. any thoughts?

  I just went into the discussion section on my dashboard and typed a few letters in the section for blocking and then deleted them and re saved it and it seems to have fixed the problem. Must have been something in there maybe, or maybe WordPress fixed the problem in the intrim.
  My problem seems to solved anyhow, I trialed one email and it worked

  I am still having issues with the same error. I am unable to register any e-mail subscriptions at the moment.

  i can’t even find my list of subscribers to grab their e-mails to send them a manual notification. what is going on wordpress!

  I have the same problem on my site. Nobody can subscribe my blog.

  I think the answer is to unsubscribe yourself temporarily.That seemed to work in freeing up my ortonfells.wordpress.com blog.

  Try that with yours. I hope it helps.
