Email subscription issue

  My friend subscribed to follow my blog , I have added the follow blog widget in my Blog post, she has got a confirmation email from WordPress. However i have not been informed about the subscription in my personal email id. Previously when ever any one subscribed, i would be notified in my personal id by WordPress. please help . Thanks for the support.
