Email subscription widget for news posts to one page only?

  Hi is it possible to change the email subscription so that subscribers only get updates for one page? I have a new wordpress website http://www.angelanewmangardens.com Only one page is my blog (where I have put the email subscription) but at the moment it is the case that subscribers will be emailed everytime I add a post to modify other pages of my site.

  I have excluded posts other than my blog category posts going to my rss feed so those subscribers only get blog posts, now i just have to figure out how to modify the email subscription so my poor subscribers aren’t inundated with my website modifications! Is this possible and if so, how? Thank you!

  Hi Angela,

  Email notifications only go out with new posts. Can you let me know if any of the other pages on your blog are actually category pages, rather than just pages?

  Hi there, the portfolio page in my theme also works using posts with a specific category (I assume that it is a category page?) It is the fact I want to create new content for this page that I have run into this issue with the email subscriptions.

  Also, the ‘teaser’ links I can put on my homepage (not there yet) and the image slider on the homepage also works with categories.

  There is no way to adjust the subscriptions. Users will receive updates for all published posts, regardless of which category they’re posted under.
