Email Subscriptions

For folks who are subscribed via email, it shows the entire blog post in the email – is there a way to shut this off and have it preview the first paragraph or so and ask them to read more on the actual site?

Is this for your Jetpack site, http://www.thekimmeyskitchen.com?
On WordPress.com you can control this by going to Settings ->Reading in the WP-Admin dashboard and setting the feed settings from Full Post to Summary, but it might not work exactly the same on your site.
I recommend you ask in the self-hosted WordPress.org forums for help with this:
