  I’m trying to add a widget where people can type in their email address on my blog page itself and receive updates when I have a new post. I subscribed for an RSS feed, but it’s not what I’m really looking for. I also tried FeedBurner… but also not what I want. I would love to use FeedBlitz. I thought read it wasn’t compatible for WordPress though. Can somebody help with this please? Thanks.

  Feed burner offers Email subscription but you will need to link to the signup form with a text widget.

  Ok, the issue is now that FeedBurner not validating my feed. The reason for this is I do not have a title in my code. I deleted the title for my blog because it is adding it on top of my customized banner and I don’t want it there. So does that mean it’s just not going to work?

  did you give feed burner your link like example 1 ?

  Example 1 mysite.wordpress.com
  
  or 
  
  Example 2 mysite.wordpress.com/feed

  The 2nd example is the correct format.

  Then you will need to add the tag line back there is themes that will hide the tag line on your custom header.
