Email subscriptions

  The confirmation sent to followers after subscribing is not in English, it is in another language, causing a bit of confusion. How can I change the language on the confirmation?

  Hi there,

  The language in which someone receives notification and confirmation emails depends on their own account settings, or on their location (the IP address they use when they subscribe to your site), and is not something you can control via your site settings.

  I signed up to follow your site to test, and the confirmation email arrived in English.

  Are the subscribers seeing it in other languages WordPress.com users, or email only followers? If they’re WordPress.com users they can check their language settings here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  For email only followers there is no setting to control this.

  Hello,
  They are email followers, and most of them are living in the Netherlands, and yet they did receive the confirmation in Greek. I also subscribed to my site and I received the confirmation in Greek.

  Ok, well I dont really know what else to do, I am very new at blogging and wordpress site. Maybe, it will fix itself, sometimes these things do. hahhaha
