email subscriptions not working

  Within the last week or so, I have ceased receiving email updates from this blog (as have other subscribers). In addition, I noticed my feed is not updating in Google Reader (not receiving recent feeds). I haven’t (to my knowledge) changed anything. Not exactly sure how to troubleshoot this issue.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It sounds like it should be a problem with Google. What’s the full URL of the blog you want to subscribe to?

  You will find others threads in the forum searchbox from yesterday when others had the same problem. Your RSS feed for entries (post) http://unfinishedwork.wordpress.com/feed/ is working and so is your RSS feed for comments http://unfinishedwork.wordpress.com/comments/feed/ The problem is at the other end.

  the problem is actually with the cccshbreviary.org blog (sorry – the question form asked for the blog url – i assumed that info would feed into my post somehow). couldn’t find any info when i searched but will check again. (not that i need to subscribe to my own blog but others reported a problem!)

  Now that I have clicked the URL I see that http://cccshbreviary.org is actually wordpress.com blog :(

  Go to http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/myfeeds

  then to troubleshootize

  then click on resync

  um – thanks. this is indeed a wp.com blog. but the feed – don’t think it’s a feedburner feed – unless WP uses that automatically; i didn’t burn one for this site. the really strange thing is i just keep reposting the same posts (we’re rotating through the same readings on a 4-week cycle) and so it can’t be any Word characters messing up the feed because they were fine first time around. (i have burned and troubleshooted feeds before and i’m just not seeing any issues or maybe i’m not sure what to look for)

  feedvalidator shows this is a valid feed but a prob. with a link relationship? http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcccshbreviary.wordpress.com%2Ffeed%2F

  i have no clue what this means or how to implement the solution (or if this is even the problem)

  okay, i burned a new feed and added an new email subscription link so we’ll see if that takes care of it. thanks again for letting me talk out loud here!!
