Hello,
I have a very urgent need with my original account. I have been trying to login since Thursday, March 14th, but I was met with an error message stating, ‘Your account has been blocked as a security precaution. To continue, you must reset your password.’ But when I try to reset it, it never sends the email for me to actually do it.
I looked for a way to contact support, but the only things I could find were only available after you’ve logged in. So I created a new account so I could ask for help. Once in my new account (which I am emailing you from), I realized email support is only available under a paid plan (which I did not have before. So I purchased the cheapest plan with email support so I could resolve this issue.
My original account (welltheninventsomething.wordpress.com) is my main blog and desperately need to keep my original URL, past posts, and stats. I do not want to completely start over. I deeply appreciate that you require proof of ownership to recover an account, so I am more than happy to send you information only I would know about my account to help recover it.
NOTE: The email associated with my primary account has not been receiving emails from WordPress.com lately (like when I try to send a login link to it or reset a password) even in the junk/spam folders. But the email I started this new (temporary) account from – is receiving WordPress emails just fine! So please respond to that latter email with information on how to resolve this issue.
If necessary, I am more than willing to change the email associated with my original account (and of course, the password) to resolve whatever security issue is pressing. The things I really need to keep are my original URL, blog posts, and stats. Those cannot be replicated.
Please reach out to me as quickly as possible and let me know if you need any other information from me! I am very much looking forward to resolving this so I can begin posting again! I have a new article that I wrote this week that I need to get up as soon as possible and I’m very excited for people to read it.
