Email Titled ‘WordPress’ threatening to delete content

  Hi, I received a weird email from ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ – which appears to be spam claiming a request has been made to erase my personal data from an account. Concerned. Anyone else experienced this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  This email is not from us and it’s most likely spam. Your WordPress.com site rimofacup.wordpress.com and your account are safe and only you have the power to delete them.

  Also, are you in any way associated with inhabitat.com?

  HI – No, I’ve never heard of inhabit.com. Thanks for your feedback, confirmed my suspicions – I thought you should know about it in case others were receiving these messages also. Thanks
