Email to blog with a specific date?

  I have lots of updating on my new blog to do and have items dating back about 6 months I want to add, I think the quickest way will be to email them as most entrys will have a picture.

  Is there a way to have a emailed item to apear as a specific date / time other short code for it took place x days ago.

  What I want to to email with a shortcode which is the date of the event.

  Hope this makes sence any clarification needed let me know.

  Solved this myself I just put
  [delay 10 September 2000]
  in the email which made the blog appear as if it was sent at 12:00 on the 10 September 2000
