Email to followers when you schedule your post to publish in the future
-
A post is published BUT it’s SCHEDULED for a future publication date. As soon as it’s published, the email is sent to all followers, but the post isn’t visible yet. How do we make sure the email to followers does NOT go out until the scheduled publication date? Thanks!

Once it’s published, it should be publicly visible and the email should be sent.
Do you mean that the email is being sent when it is scheduled?
-
Yes, that’s what I mean. I was thinking the button was “Publish” even for future scheduled posts but I see now the button is “Schedule.” So yes, the email goes out when it’s scheduled but not yet published.

Don’t know if it’s happened before. I’m wondering if the author published it and THEN realized he was going to schedule it instead. That would result in what we had happen, right?
-
Yes, that’s really the only way it could have happened. I don’t see anything currently suggesting more than that, but if it happens again, we may have more to go on.

GREAT! Thanks so much. I’ll alert our authors that they need to SCHEDULE from the get-go or this will happen. Thanks!
