Email to Subscribers

The email my subscribers get are very scant, with no images and pretty lame.
Is there any way to set it so that my subscribers can see an email that looks like the blog post and not just a few sentences?
The image doesn’t even automatically show up. I’ve been using WP.com for 13 years and it doesn’t seem like it’s improving.

I’m trying to come up with a reason not to go to Substack. Their emails are much cleaner and look like the actual post.

Hi there!
The new post email does include images that are inserted before the more tag. To confirm if it’s still working, I just checked by publishing a post on my test site, and the email I got as the follower of that site showed the image that’s inserted before the more tag. So it seems to be working on my end.
