  Hello! We are trying to change our primary email address to (email visible only to moderators and staff) rather than (email visible only to moderators and staff), but we are having troubles. It says that there will be an email sent to change it, but there is no email.

  I don’t see any email change requests for the WordPress.com username account you used to post here.

  Are you perhaps trying to change the email for your admin account on a stand-alone WordPress site?

  If that’s the case, we can’t help you here, as we have no control over your site or the login credentials for your admin account. Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead, as they provide support for the stand-alone version of WordPress:
