email typed wrong

  Well, I guess it is time to slow down a bit when typing because I typed my email address wrong when I registered and now I have no way to authenticate my account. I went in and changed my email, but I am guessing that it will not actually change until I activate the wrong email – – correct?

  Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

  Not exactly. You already entered the correct email address so two emails were sent out. One email went to the wrong email address that you first entered as a notification of the request and the other went to the correct email address with a confirmation link. Technically the email that was sent to the wrong email address won’t get sent because the email address does not exist.

  Now all you have to do is look for the confirmation email sent to the correct email address and click the confirmation link. If you don’t find it in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder and Social tab if you’re using Gmail.
