Email update

I’ve been trying to update and change the email of my WordPress blog / site. I never receive any emails to verify the updated email and have tried resetting a few times.
It’s the profile email I want to update to an outlook email, as well as the administration email address. I’m not receiving emails to my junk or spam box to verify. -
Hi @anastasiagerali, could you confirm what address you’re trying to update to? If you’ll type it here it will be hidden from public view so only staff can see it. And we can use that to look for more information.

I’m trying to update the administration email to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
When I type it in an save, it says verification email will be sent to this email, but it never comes. -
Are you trying to change the email address on your WordPress.com account (https://wordpress.com/me/account) or on your WordPress site?
I do not see any attempts to change the email on your account here, so I think you may be referring to a site hosted elsewhere. If that’s the case, we won’t be able to help.Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
