Email update

I’m trying to update my email and it states that it will send an email to the new address to confirm the email but the email isn’t being sent. I’ve checked the email and all folders and I’ve sent several test emails and get them all but the one to confirm the new email address isn’t coming through.

What is the new email address you’re changing to? Type it on its own line, and it will automatically be hidden from public view so only staff can see it.
If the new email address is a Gmail address, make sure to check the Social and Updates folders – Gmail often routes emails from us there instead of to the inbox.

I was able to find the folder and there was an email in there from convert kit to confirm my email but the one I’m trying to update is on WordPress and it is the box that say’s “administration email address”. By the way thank you for showing me the other folders and it is on g-suite.

Are you trying to update the email address for your WordPress.com username account at https://wordpress.com/me/account/?
Or are you trying to update the admin account email for a stand-alone WordPress site at another hosting provider?
If it’s the latter, we can’t help you here. In that case the email is not being sent from us, as we have nothing to do with your admin account on that site, but it’s being sent by your WordPress installation itself on your hosting provider’s servers.
