Email updates for closed (private) blogs?

  I am part of a small group of people who are currently engaged in a very active discussion, with numerous threads and topics. In an effort to maintain this as a private conversation, the blog in which it is happening is closed, that is, it is set to “Only users that I invite.”

  Obviously, we have found that RSS, feedburner, etc, are going to be of no help to us in this situation.

  Any other ideas?

  No, that’s the way it is for privacy protection. Emails are far too easy to forward.
