Email vacation responder?

    I have an email address at my WordPress domain. It forwards to my Gmail using WordPress email forwarding. I need to set up a vacation responder for the email address at my domain.

    Gmail’s vacation responder only responds to emails sent directly to my Gmail, it does not respond to the forwarded emails. Please tell me there is a way to do this using WordPress.
