Email Verification

  I was told by an wordpress engineer that email verifications don’t always end up sent to the email address they are sent to. I have absolutely no idea what that means. I have sent over 100 email verification requests and it still has not come. I was told I woud have a private email sent to me, so I could verify my email address and that was never done.

  I sent the follow up email to the email address we have on file for you. Could you verify the email address you are expecting it to go to? Only you and WordPress.com staff will be able to see the email address you post.

  That’s the address we have on file, but I see that you tried to change the address 3 days ago. If you want the address to be changed, the auto-generated emails will go to the new address. If you want to keep the address you gave me below click the cancel link under the email field on this page

  I tried email address because I thought there was something wrong with my (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address. However, the site would not let me change it. What is the problem here? I have been on this site for week and I have been unable to verify my email address. You have stated that the email address that you have on file is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and that I have been sent email verifications. Much to my dismay I have requested an email verification over 100 times and I have been writing to this forum every day, yet I have never been sent an email verification. What is going on here? What do I need to do to get an email verification, so I can start publishing on my block?

  In order to verify your account, we need you to reply to an email from the account in question. I see that several verification emails have been sent, but since you don’t seem to be receiving them, let’s try something else. I’m going to send you an email directly from my email account rather than the help system and see if you are able to receive that one.
