  Hello,I am not receiving any emails from you in order to verify my account. I have ensured that I am entering the correct address and that it is not in my junk folder however I am not receiving the validation email.

  Please make sure to check your spam folders. If you are using Gmail with tabs, be sure to check them all as well.

  To clarify, are you trying to update the email address previously saved on your thenotionofafreethinker WordPress.com account to something else? If yes, can you please reply back here with the old and new email addresses?

  Can you please also check the following link and let me know what email address you see listed and whether or not you see any error or warning messages on this page?
