Email Widger
-
Is there a way to set up an “Email Me” widget on my wordpress blog? I want people to be able to email me with any thoughts or questions without having to leave a comment. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks! That helped. I did not want to post my email address out there. I thought of opening a new email address just for blogging but this is even better.

Hi, I’ve tried adding a contact form to a previous post of mine by going into the editor and adding it in. However, it hasn’t worked. Are you able to add in a contact form after you have published the post?

Most people chose to have a contact form on a page but I don’t know why it did not work for you in a post. Have you tried editing the post and entering the [contact-form] shortcode? http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

Thanks – I have tried to add the contact form – the button is labelled “custorm form” on my editor but the shortcode is the same as the one on the support page you sent me. I tried to add the contact form to my about page and this is my preview changes: http://sharethysecret.wordpress.com/about/?preview=true&preview_id=2&preview_nonce=0dec854f4f
Am I missing something? I’m pretty certain nothing has changed on the blog?

We Volunteers cannot view “previews”.
Edit your about page and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Type only this in [contact-form] do not copy and paste – type it.
Click “update” in the publish box.
Then come back here and tell me what happened. -

I have one more question: can anyone viewing your page contact you on the contact form or do they have to bea blogger signed into wordpress? thanks!
