email/custom domain problems

    I’ve created a website though wordpress to replace having to use dreamweaver. I have a custom domain name I want to point to my wordpress site. The domain and email is currently with crazy domains. I have tried to understand how to generate all the DNS records needed, but that area in crazy domains is just too hard to understand and the language is just beyond me.

    I’m at the point of cutting my losses, getting free email in place of my current domain specific email and re-purchasing my domain through wordpress. Crazy Domains is so hard to work with, and trying to get help – $99/hr – you’ve got to be kidding. I had to pay $15 just to access the DNS side of things.

    Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

    There is a risk if you let it go into turnaround that you might lose the domain name. And Wp.com does not currently accept incoming domain transfers. You might be able to transfer it to someone who is more helpful, though, and then point it to your blog here via the Custom Domain upgrade.
