emailed posts are only showing links to images instead of actual image

  I have a blog with shared users who post to it. It is a password protected blog. We all get an email with new posts when they are posted, however the emails only contain links to images instead of the actual image. Is it possible to actually see the image in the email?

  Hi there,

  Since your blog is password protected, the emails which are sent out do indeed strip the image to ensure the privacy of your blog. We have recently been considering a change to allow those images through, however such a change has not been decided on nor what the change might actually look like.

  In the mean time, users who want to see images for password-protected blogs will still need to login in order to see those images.
