Emailed Posts Not Publicizing to Facebook

    I have successfully connected my blog to facebook so that when I manually add a post it automatically goes to the related facebook page. However, when I email a post, it posts to my blog ok, but it does not get passed on to facebook. I even tried adding the [publicize facebook] shortcode, but that did not work either.
