  When I post a blog will my existing contacts be automatically emailed?

  Please share your site address.

  If your site is hosted on WordPress.com, please note that when someone follows your site, each time you publish new content on your blog they receive an update in their Reader, via email, or both depending on their settings.

  Also, if you have your Site Visibility options set to private, your subscribers will not receive any email notifications of your posts.
