emailing my posts to contacts

  I am trying to find out how to set up so that when I post to my blog it e-mails to my contacts

  They will need to subscribe themselves, but you can make it easy on them by adding a Follow Blog widget to your sidebar: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

  Thank you for the hint but I understood there was a way to import your e-mail contacts and then each time you posted a new post it would automatically send it to your contacts.

  No, there isn’t a way to import a list of your email contacts.

  We suggest sending an email to your contacts pointing them to your blog, then as James suggested, add the Follow Blog widget to your sidebar.
