Emailing the blog post

  Is there a way to send a partial blog post so that folks have to click through to the actual site to read more?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey janeanndesigns,

  One suggestion would be to simply include a sentence or two from your post within the email and then hyperlink your website from there.

  For example:

  Check out our latest post, Out of the Pit.

  That way they will need to click the link to your site in order to read more.

  Hopefully, this helps.

  Hi janeanndesigns!

  I think I might have a solution for you.

  1. Scroll to the very bottom of the login page and click on “WP Admin.” (this should also take you there: https://ctkcharlotte.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)

  2. Under “settings” click on “reading.”

  3. The fourth option is “For each article in a feed, show”. Change that to “summary”.

  This should send only the first couple of lines in your blog post with a link to the rest in the email sent to your subscribers.
