People can’t get on my blog, when i post a new blog page, they say the email they are getting is blank and they can’t get on, this has to be an issue with wordpress, I have asked you before and got no response, anybody out there, please fix this problem.

Are your subscribers receiving blank emails from WordPress.com? If so, we are aware of this issue and working on fixing it.
We recently switched all of our emails over to HTML, which has caused some display problems with older email clients. Would you happen to know what Internet browser and webmail platform your readers are using — those that are experiencing this problem?

We hope to have a fix ASAP. We were able to resolve the problem for some webmail clients, but the problem persists with a few others.
If you find out any additional information regarding the email clients and browsers for your subscribers, feel free to pass it along to us!

I heard from a couple of people, One uses Internet explorer and connects to the internet Via Wowway. Another has Yahoo and her Email is Sbc Global I have not heard from others. I hope you can resolve this issue, Thanks

Now there is another problem, someone just tried to reply to a comment and when she finished there was no comment box to send it. she did not have this problem yesterday. come on guys, please stop messing with things. I just want a blog that’s working right.

Can you describe what you mean by “no comment box”? I consider the whole comment posting area to be the comment box, so I’m not sure how she could reply with no comment box.
Can you tell me what post this happened on?

The last post I made was Sept 30th friday, She said she could not reply to a comment, she was only able to make a comment but not reply to any. I don’t understand what’s up with that, I don’t have that problem My Browser is Google, hers is Yahoo and AOL, it seems others that have AOL have had problems with Emails also. I hope you can resolve this issue, It’s been awhile, when is this going to be fixed.

The AOL browser tends to be pretty out of date and unreliable. I don’t suppose there’s any chance that you could convince her to use a separate and more up-to-date browser, like Chrome or Firefox?

Ok this is a response from one person. Other companies Use HTML and don’t have this problem. I worked with programmers who develop software and asked them about this. The problem is the change you made. even though many don’t like AOL. It still works and should work with wordpress. It just makes me upset when they try to get us to change, when they don’t have the knowledge to fix this problem. This lady has AOL fo a long time and is not willing to change it. she has a point you guys should be able to fix this problem, when others can do it. you should not expect others to change. Please Fix this problem. because some will not be willing to change their Email.

Yep, we’re still looking into it. It’s just after midnight on Monday morning for the folks who can fix this, so please hang in there.
