  I want to update my account and change the email to my personal email which is (email visible only to moderators and staff) however it doesn’t let me. if i try to log in using my email and password at school i can’t get access to my site. i need access as this is my digital blog/portfolio. would i be able to link the sites and email address? even change my username?

  What error you are getting while trying to change email address? Make sure email address you want to change to is not being uaed for any other WordPress.com account.

  Note this.
  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.
