Emails

    Dear WordPress
I have been alerted that when someone contacts me via my ‘contact’ form on my blog, when I reply to this email, it replies using my personal email address. Is there a way round this?
    Many thanks
    Ruth

  • Hello there,

WordPress.com can take care of email forwarding so that you can display a different email address on your site that will forward to your personal email address. When you reply to that email though, the “from:” depends on your email provider. Some email providers provide an email alias ability, which would mask your personal email, but many popular providers, such as Gmail, do not.

To also change the From field, WordPress.com recommends you set up a proper email account, for example with G Suite.

If you would like to take a more detailed look at this we have a guide here:

I hope that is helpful and please let me know if you need any more support!
