Emails (and a scam alert)
-
Hi, there. I am currently receiving an email for every like, comment, follow and the rest in my professional emails. It is clogging and filling it up and I can’t have this. I would like to maybe receive a quarterly or monthly newsletter, but not the rest. Can you help me deactivate email alerts. I have tried on WordPress, following the guideline on Google, and I’ve tried from Gmail.com. can you advise me. Thanks.
P.s. I started trying to find out the information from a sponsored site that came up when I put a search for help with WordPress into Google. I am.almost certain that they were trying to scam me. They first asked for email, name and phone number, them when I refused to provide the phone number they outright asked for my login details. I think this should be investigated as thier site is above yours and sponsored…. it was this site — https://www.wpvideotutorial.com/wordpress-support-for-uk/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAmeKQBhDvARIsAHJ7mF5KW0G-eIgQiBdmC0Xdj8QGCGmezTko2WzEB1hIznEr3UaOwCVVxMUaAlA5EALw_wcBWP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
You can update your email notification settings here:

Hi there, besides the links that @actuallynoah provided you to help you cut down the number of emails you are receiving about activity on your allcripps site, please understand that the site you mentioned in the Google search engine returns has nothing to do with WordPress.com and you did the right thing by not providing them with your log in information. That information should never be shared with anyone else.
For information about working with your allcripps.wordpress.com website, our support site should be your first stop. https://wordpress.com/support/ and then of course the contact support form, where you posted, and our support forums. There are both volunteers and staff answering user questions here.
Hope that also helps.
