I recently had an issue with a forgotten password. I clicked the link to request a new one but never got a response. I went onto the WordPress site and requested a new password through the site. And they sent me a link …yes… but no! When I tried to log in and ask to go to my site it tells me that I don’t have a website and when I tried putting the password in directly on my site page the password didn’t work either. Fortunately my website designer got me a into the site so I can now access my website but don’t understand why I can’t request a new password. I get regular emails from WordPress updates which go to the same email that I tried to request a new password with.Site: http://www.petrabishai.co.uk.

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.
