emails configured with hosting company (wordpress)
-
I got a domain from Name.com and used it as the domain for the blog. However, when I asked support at Name.com to get my email working (because it wasn’t as I am hosting with WordPress) they told me this:
“The problem is that you need to add the MX records for the email product. Since you are not using our name servers, you will have to add your hosting provider to add these for you. The records they need to add are:
Type Answer TTL Prio
MX mx1.mail.name.com 300 10
MX mx2.mail.name.com 300 20
MX mx3.mail.name.com 300 30Please help me get this fixed, I would like to use my @localppl.com email.
Best,
Zain

Hi Zain,
I’ve added those MX records for you, so your email should start working again within a few hours. You can learn more about how to manage those email records for your domain here: Add Email through other providers
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
