Emails of my daily blogs to Followers
-
Emails of my daily blogs to followers have stopped as of 1 November 2020. My settings have not been changed so should still allow this. Please advise as the basis of my site is a daily ‘as it happened’ diary of events in World War 2.

Thanks for this. Could you provide a few addresses for people who expected an email and did not receive one? I can see with your own account that you were unsubscribed yesterday and resubscribed at some point today.

I did more digging and can confirm what you’re seeing. We’re working to sort this out for you.
In the meantime, can you think of any recent changes to your site, or to the way you use it? For example, did you make changes to your typical post-writing process recently?

Thanks for following this up.
The one change I made is having to use the new Gutenberg system for copying and scheduling posts.
Since 11 June 2020 I have been rerunning the maltagc70 War Diary for 80th anniversary of the war in Malta.
To do so, I copy the blog for each day and schedule in advance for publication, done in batches of a month at a time, for blogs up to 31 October 1940 using the original WP Admin and ?classic? system.
Last week to prepare the blogs for 1 November 2020 onwards the only copy system available for this action was the new system. The copying and scheduling worked fine and the posts have been published on the site but not emailed to followers.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. I think we might see the issue on our end. We’re doing a bit more digging and will update you when we have more info.
