Emails to Followers with WordPress Accounts

  Hi! Do ‘followers’ also receive email notifications of new posts or just ’email followers?’ Follow-up question– if someone is following, but not receiving emails, how do I remedy that? Thank you.

  Followers have a WordPress.com account and by default consume your new posts with the WordPress.com Reader, however they do have the option to turn on email notifications as well via their subscription settings: https://wordpress.com/following/manage
