Emails to Subscribers

    I have a few followers that have subscribed to my blog through an email id. However, I have realised that whenever I publish a post they get an email with my ENTIRE post along with any photos uploaded and captions and therefore they do not have to go to my blog to read it.
    I wanna know what to change in my settings so that the subscibers get only an excerpt or maybe a few link along with a link to click in case they want to read more.

    You can control the length of the entry sent out on your RSS feed here Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Choose the “summary” setting for your RSS feed rather than to “full text”. That will compel followers who are not using mobiles to click into the blog to read the full post which will create a page view stat.
