Emails to Subscribers Not Going Out
-
With my last blogpost, no subscribers got the email that it had been published, including me. I was planning to blog again this week, but I’d like to get this straightened out first.
Did something change? I’ve never needed to do anything but push “Publish” and the emails went out w/in minutes.
Please help!
Thanks, KatyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This appears to be your most recently published post https://katytaylor.wordpress.com/2015/07/28/breathing-in-breathing-out/
Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact them ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them.
Then please type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Thank you!
I don’t know any WP bloggers offhand, except for myself. I did not receive a copy and i always do at (email visible only to moderators and staff). I’m going to stop there and make sure that email address does not show before I post those of my friends.

OK, it works and hides my email.
Here are 3 emails of non-bloggers who did not receive it: (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff).
thank you.

Thanks for the information for Staff. Please be patient while waiting as it is a weekend and there are other threads that were tagged prior to this one being tagged.

Hi Katy,
According to our records, you currently aren’t subscribed to email updates from your blog, so you won’t received emails for your new posts. You can change that on your Edit Blogs I Follow page, by changing the email subscription settings for your blog so you receive email updates.
I also checked the other email addresses you mentioned, and WordPress.com successfully sent emails about that post to the first and last email addresses. Those subscribers should check their spam/junk folder or search their email to see if the email update landed somewhere other than their inbox.
The second address you mentioned isn’t subscribed to your blog, so it won’t receive email updates.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Thanks for your help, but… As the author, I used to always get a copy of my blogpost and an email notification when comments were posted, which i also didn’t get a few times ago. Did something change?
In terms of the other 2 emails, the aol email i sent you searched her whole AOL folder and did not find the most recent blogpost. She’s been getting them since i began posting. Do you have a record of it going out? The 2nd email was the wrong one–sorry. And he just now found my post in his Gmail Promotions tab.
Thanks for helping!

Hi there,

You are subscribed to the comments on some of your previous blog posts, which explains why you received emails when comments were posted on them. You can change your subscription settings to receive emails for all new blog posts and comments, so you keep getting those. :)

Yes, our records show that the email was accepted by AOL for delivery. After that, it’s up to AOL to actually deliver the email to her inbox — if the email never made it, she’ll need to contact AOL for more help figuring out what happened to it.

thank you! i followed the link and subscribed to my blog and comments. i’m still confused why that suddenly changed–i have no memory of ever subscribing to my own blog or posts before, so when i stopped receiving emails it made no sense…hopefully this solves it.
i really appreciate your support! i’m all set for now. thank you.
