Embed ´google map with route´ error

  Embedding a google map with the route /directions does not work correctly. It comes up with an alternate seemingly random route in a potentially different area. I believe its a problem with wordpress rather than google when it converts the iframe tag to googlemaps tag but this is a guess.

  To do this, I opened google maps; clicked on the link icon; Copied the iframe tag designed for embeding; pasted into the text tab on a post, saved and preview.

  Or am I doing it wrong?

  We cannot use the new Google maps engine on WordPress.com blogs.
